Two jobs. Two destinations
Accra desk: save a wallet QR first. Pay official MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, or Ghana bank GHS on that order. We confirm Cedis. Then yuan goes to that QR. After we confirm your GHS, MoMo and bank orders usually land in 15–30 minutes. “I Have Made Payment” does not finish the order.
UnionPay: a card brand you present in person or at a machine. Travel spend. Hotel. Shop. Restaurant. Sometimes cash from an ATM if the issuer and the till allow it. The destination is a card authorization, not a WeChat Pay, Alipay, or NIP receiving QR this desk fills.
Those jobs do not substitute. A UnionPay swipe does not become a remote supplier QR fill because you showed a screenshot. Paying a wallet QR is not a card payment, even when a message quotes a card number. There is no UnionPay collection account, UnionPay QR payout, or Ghana-to-UnionPay hop.

Which path fits
Use the Accra desk when the recipient can take WeChat Pay, Alipay, or NIP and you can pay Ghana Cedis to the official order account. Factory QR, shop QR, family wallet. Same ticket. Remote supplier who already sent a code: get a supplier receiving QR and pay a Chinese supplier from Ghana.
Use UnionPay when you are the one spending in China with a card the till accepts. That is travel. It is not this desk collecting GHS. It is not this desk paying a UnionPay number. If the factory wants you to fly in and tap a card, that is their till. Ask that till. That is their till, not this desk.
Use a bank CIPS conversation when the beneficiary is a Chinese bank account under trade papers. Packing lists. Contracts. CNAPS or account numbers. That is the bank’s product. We will not pretend to file it. CIPS vs the Accra desk.
If you only have Naira, none of those sentences opens a Naira checkout. Buyers anywhere in Africa pay in Ghana cedis.
What we will not claim
No UnionPay merchant acquiring. We do not take cards on this desk. We do not add a card checkout or a new Ghana payment method. Ghana pay-in stays MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, or a Ghana bank to the official account on the order.
No UnionPay payout. This desk cannot type a UnionPay number, PAN, or card token into fulfillment. Existing product language already says so. Ask again for WeChat Pay, Alipay, or NIP. If they only take a card swipe in person, that is travel, not this ticket. If they only take a bank account, that is CIPS or B2B collection.
No partnership with UnionPay. No Ghana bank UnionPay product name, cut-off, or fee from this desk. No UnionPay QR collection. No conversion of a UnionPay card into WeChat. Those payment methods do not exist on this desk.

How the Accra side actually runs
Register with a Ghana phone. Verify email. Open an offer on Buy RMB. Save WeChat Pay, Alipay, or NIP. Pay the official GHS details. Upload proof. Wait for confirm. Then yuan.
Ghana-wide Alipay path: Ghana to Alipay. Ghana-wide WeChat path: Ghana to WeChat Pay. A supplier mentioning a card does not turn the order into UnionPay.
If the factory will only take a card in person, stop. That is travel spend. If they will only take a Chinese account number, stop. Ask again for a wallet QR. If they refuse, talk to a bank. Get a supplier receiving QR.
Card travel is not remote trade
Importers in Accra, Kumasi, or Tema who need to pay a factory that never sees them in China need a receiving QR. Standing at a Shanghai POS with a UnionPay card is a different life. Do not force a card job onto a QR ticket. Do not force a QR ticket onto a card job.
1688, Taobao, and Alibaba.com still need a QR this desk can fund if you want Accra to pay. Marketplace checkout buttons are not UnionPay collection and not this desk. Pay 1688 from Ghana.

When should I use UnionPay instead of the Accra desk?
Use a UnionPay card when you are spending in person in China at a till that accepts it. Use this Accra desk when a remote supplier can take WeChat Pay, Alipay, or NIP and you can pay Ghana Cedis. We do not say which is cheaper.
